From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Spirit flight 1605, dtw to rsw, departed at 1231Z. During climbout at 10,000 ft., the oil strainer light illuminated on the right engine. After a few seconds, the right engine shuddered and vibrated severely, with EGT exceeding 700 degrees. As the engine was shutdown by the pilot, the oil quantity dropped to zero. The aircraft returned to dtw and made an uneventful landing. The airport's emergency equipment was standing by. An overweight landing was made at 138,000 lbs. Investigation after landing revealed the right engine had suffered an uncontained failure, with engine pieces exiting the powerplant case at the forward end of the turbine. No engine pieces exited the cowling or penetrated the fuselage. The engine will be sent to a shop for teardown and failure cause investigation.
