From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N14RZ was being taxied by Mr. Covault to Huntington, Indiana's runway for an IFR departure. Upon reaching the end of the taxiway, Mr. Covault was unable to slow the aircraft sufficiently to make the turn to the runway. Aircraft departed the taxiway during the turn into soft soil and the aircraft's nose gear collapsed. Pilot stated that he thought the aircraft's brakes had failed. Skid marks attributed to N14RZ were evident on the taxiway for approximately 200 ft prior to the aircraft's leaving the taxiway.
