From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) In preparation for the 100th anniversary celebration of the wright brother's First powered Flight, pilot terry lane queijo, was conducting a test Flight of the wright experience wright flyer model aircraft (s/n WE-1) at 1015 EST on November 25, 2003. A vacationing FAA aviation safety inspector, jeff bulmer of the AEA-25 FSDO, witnessed the Flight. He stated that after approximately 75 feet of takeoff roll along the guide rail, the aircraft rotated for takeoff and nosed over into the sand. There was minimal aircraft damage and no injury to the pilot. The aircraft was moved to a hangar for repair. In an interview with the pilot, inspector bulmer stated that she said that all seemed normal on rotation, when the aircraft inexplicably pitched over. The aircraft's manufacturer, the wright experience, is reviewing the data recorder info.
