From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) After landing in Indianapolis International Airport, the pilot was taxiing to the Raytheon ramp to park the aircraft, when ground crew noticed fire coming out of the r/h wheel well. The ground crew proceeded to extinguish the fire with a bottle of halon extinguisher. The pilot did not notice the fire until he parked the aircraft. The pilot stated that the brake pedals bottom out when he was parking the aircraft. FAA inspectors investigated the incident and found the hydraulic brake line chaffing with the brake casing. Also, there was a hydraulic leak in the line. Ground crew stated that when the aircraft was taxiing, they noticed that the brake disk was cherry red, maybe indicating a possible brake seized. There was no significant damage. The spiral wrap on the brake hydraulic line melted and possible damage to the hydraulic line.
