From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On February 7, 2004, at 1148 EDT, a Cessna 337-O2A, registered to dennis c. labbe, landed with the gear partially extended at Page Field, Ft Myers, Florida, while on a pleasure flight. On departure from Page Field the landing gear would not fully retract. Pilot selected gear down and tried to extend the gear using the hand pump. The gear would not fully extend. Subsequent investigation revealed a small hole from electrical arcing on a landing hydraulic line. The line is located next to the battery which was recently replaced. The aircraft sustained minor damage and no injuries to pilot or passenger. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time. The flight originated at Page Field (fmy) in ft. Myers, Florida.
