From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft landed approximately in last 1/2 to 1/3 of runway length for runway 26 at Rifle, Colorado, due to speed of aircraft it hydroplaned on wet runway even though there was no standing water. As aircraft slowed it started a shallow left turn and exiting runway at a 40 degree angle to centerline. The right outboard main tire was broken off of rim by hardened dirt of over run area causing aircraft to tilt onto right wing and slide approximately 60 feet on the right main gear, nose gear, and right wing tip. 4 feet of wing was bent, right engine and propeller were destroyed, and 2 windows on right side of cabin were cracked from debris.
