The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) N451B a bonanza BE-35 gear collapsed on landing at Whiteman Airport pacoima, CA (whp) on April 12, 2004 at 2339PDT. Minor damage and no injuries were reported. An airworthiness inspection indicated the nature of the damage is consistent with the gear being selected up on the ground. The aircraft was jacked by privacy data omitted at hangar 32 (Whiteman) and the gear worked perfectly both in extension and retraction as did the gear warning horn. The pilot of N451B stated that during the departure from las vegas, mccarran airport, a momentary electrical interruption was noted. The pilot stated, "the panel went black". The pilot also stated that electrical power to the aircraft was restored when the alternator switch was switched off and then on. Although there is no evidence to support the exact cause of the incident, an electrical short may have been associated with the collapse of the landing gear during the rollout after landing.
