From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Abx flight 426 departed from international falls, MN, enroute to san jose CA. The right hand main landing gear (MLG) would not extend to the down and lock position. The crew followed the emergency check list making several attempts to secure the lg. Crew attempted high positive "g" maneuvers to get the gear to come out of the well. After several attempts they were successful. They made an emergency landing at Mather airport in Mather, CA. The aircraft landed without incident and the crew were uninjured. Inspection of the r/h MLG revealed chafing in the uplock area due to improper clearances. The r/h MLG was disassembled and inspected. The inner strut piston upper bearing was installed upside down. This allowed the strut to extend 3/4" further than normal. This excessive extension allowed the lg to get wedged into the landing gear well.
