What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Pilot states that he had sufficient fuel for thirty minute flight to destination (1200 lbs) but could not recall gauge reading prior to engine start. While in cruise he noticed the gauges read 450 # right tank, 100 # left tank. He then selected the fuel cross feed switch towards the right tank, in a subsequent left turn the engines both flamed out, he made two more left turns the last at 100' above houses and trees, again both engines flamed out.
