From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Enroute from moultrie, ga to hooker, OK, the aircraft lost electrical charging power. The pilot reported that he turned off all equipment and elected to land at Mcalester, Oklahoma. The battery switch was turned on and the gear was selected down. The aircraft did not have enough electrical power to give a gear down indication. The pilot reported the gear appeared to be down in the mirrors installed on the wing tip fuel tanks. On roll out the gear slowly collapsed. Damage to the aircraft was minor, limited to the main gear inboard gear door, the nose gear doors, the propeller and the exhaust outlets.
