From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot stated the aircraft departed Talkeetna state airport for the purpose of an office of aircraft services check ride. The aircraft landed at the kahiltna glacier and returned to Talkeetna. The pilot performed a normal wheel landing at Talkeetna. As the aircraft slowed to approximately 25 KTS on the runway the aircraft slowly pitched forward and the prop struck the runway. The pilot stated he got out of the aircraft and attempted to move the aircraft discovering the brakes were locked. The pilot manipulated the parking brake control three or four times, heard a click, and determined the brake had released. Damage was limited to propeller and engine.
