From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft was landed gear-up on RW-3R at kluk and aircraft skidded to a stop on center line of runway. Pilot stated he forgot to extend the landing gear before landing, due to not using the landing check list properly. Pilot also stated he couldn't remember whether the gear horn was on or not before landing. When I arrived at the aircraft scene, the gear handle was in the up position, damage to underside of airframe was minor and propeller blade tips were bent. (-23 amendment) put aircraft on jacks and confirmed gear warning horn functioning properly. Landing check list and landing gear system reviewed with pilot. This incident considered closed with submission of this report.
