From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot statement: the helicopters was engaged in air to ground photography in support of a television commercial. The helicopter had made fly-bys of the "picture cars", and was repositioning for another pass of the picture cars at about 200 AGL. "I felt something let-go, lowered the collective, then raised the collective to verify "power loss", entered an autorotation and hit rolled. Exited the copter." No injuries to me or my left front crewmember. My back seat "cameraman" was transported to a hospital for examination. Condition unknown.
