From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot-in-command (PIC) was completing his 4th touch and go during his 2nd solo flight as a student pilot. Due to several aircraft in the pattern, the tower reportedly signaled for all aircraft to land and taxi-back. The PIC of N52846 did not realize the tower instructions included him. Therefore, after landing on runway 27 at approximately 1030L, he committed himself to takeoff again before being called-out by the tower. He therefore set the aircraft down losing control. The aircraft came to a full stop on the right side of runway 27, approximately 2/3 ways down the active runway. The nose landing gear was severed from the aircraft causing major structural damage at the firewall and minor damage to the engine mount.
