What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The flight was a sales demonstration from Texas to Aspen, CO, a route regularly flown by the pilot in command, allen anderson. During final approach to Aspen runway 15, the aircraft was high on the glide path with a 10 knot tailwind. Mr. Anderson said he was used to flying his own C-210 and flared too high, rapidly losing airspeed. Both pilots began to manipulate the controls in order to correct the error. The airplane landed hard, damaging propeller, nose gear and lower rudder.
