From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The aircraft departed on time with an enroute time of one hour and twenty five minutes. Some where during the flight the cross feed was activated and the left and right engines were feeding from the left fuel tank. Darning the flight, the first officer was speaking of a control problem and as the airspeed got slower the control problem got worse. Both engines lost power at approximately 400 feet about the ground, approximately one to two miles from the landing runway. The aircraft impacted the trees and terrain and was destroyed. Of the two occupants on board, the first officer suffered fatal injuries.
