From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft N750DH operating as flight ER108 (phx-cvg) was being marshalled into spot 54 on the dhl ramp. Aircraft N752DH was parked (stationary) in position 48 on the opposite side of the taxi lane. It was not centered on the marked position. Marshaler was guiding flight 108 into parking. Marshaler signalled an approximate 90-degree turn into spot 54 and handed flight 108 off to next marshaler. As the aircraft turned into parking the tail swung around and struck the tail of N752DH. Each aircraft's left horizontal stabilizer was damaged. Investigation is ongoing.
