From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated the gear collapsed on landing. He later stated he may not have operated the gear handle properly. (-23 amendment) pilots written statement as follows: I was going to do 4-5 touch and goes. On the 3rd landing I apparently did not have the gear lever full down. On the 1st 2 landings I saw the green lights. On the 3rd there was slow traffic up front and I didn't see the greens. The prop hit the runway and I came to a skidding halt.
