From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Came over a small hill over which I climbed to approximately 70 ft. began a descent to about 50 ft. struck wires, made an emergency landing on the road. Momentum caused us to slide off shoulder. Aircraft moved down and came to rest upright. No injuries." Inspector: aircraft hit road 150 yds past the wire strike and came to rest 60 yds further off the right side facing 180 degrees. Departing the shoulder, the nose camera dug into the sod raising the tail causing the rotor to strike the tail boom.
