From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot privacy data omitted reported a normal landing at approximately 70 knots on runway 29. Weather was clear, calm, and dry. The pilot privacy data omitted reported that with initial brake application after landing, a loud noise was heard and the aircraft violently veered to the left. Full right rudder deflection and right brake application were required to maintain the aircraft on the runway centerline. The aircraft exited the runway via taxiway golf. The aircraft was taxied to the hard stand parking spot under its own opower. During taxi, the aircraft required higher than normal power and constant right rudder input. Inspection revealed the nose gear is canted approximately 10 degrees from normal to the right. The right aft nose gear side brace is buckled at approximately midspan. The left side brace is sheared at the upper attach point with the engine mount. The left lower forward edge of the wheel skirt tire cutout shows evidence of abrasion wear or scraping. The propeller has damage on both tips with the leading edges curled slightly approximately one and one half inches long and one quarter inch deep from the tip.
