What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Aircraft experienced an unsafe nose gear indication on the ground at san louis obispo airport. The "three green" indication came back on and a mechanic verified that the gear was down and locked. The aircraft was then ferried to Burbank, when, in cruise, the unsafe nose gear indication came back on. Pilot called Burbank and talked to ops/maintenance with little help from either. He felt that because a mechanic verified that the gear was down, and because he was ferrying the airplane with the gear down everything was ok. On landing at Burbank the nose gear collapsed.
