From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot stated that just after touch down with a right crosswind and with the nose of the aircraft angled to the right he attempted to correct with the rudder and brake, but he was unable to stay aligned with the runway. He stated that he applied full throttle to make a go around, but the engine did not respond. The pilot then lost control of the aircraft causing the left landing gear to separate from the aircraft and coming to rest on it's fuselage and left wing. The left wing skin has indications of internal damage. The propeller was severely damaged from runway strikes.
