From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During taxi operations two CE-172'S struck each other while taxiing to runway 30 at Frederick airport, Frederick, MD. The two aircraft collided at the intersection of taxiway a (alpha) and d (delta). The two aircraft were approaching the intersection at 90 degree angles. The pilot of N711DA, privacy data omitted stated that he saw the other airplane approaching the intersection very slowly, so he made a blind radio call in hopes to alert the other plane that he was taxiing to runway 30. The pilot of N3513F, privacy data omitted stated that he heard the radio transmission but was already starting to turn onto taxiway delta proceeding to the approach end of runway 30 and did not see the other aircraft. Conditions were VMC, and it was dark. N711DA sustained damage to the right wing, to include the wingtip and spar near the wing strut attach point. N3513F sustained damage to the prop and the pitot tube.
