From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The flight originated from visalia, CA (vis). Upon arrival at Santa Ana, CA (sna) the pilot was being vectored for landing due to ATC handling an emergency at sna. The pilot stated that while being vectored, he became concerned about an unusually low reading on the aircraft TIT gauge and his attention to procedures was distracted. When he was cleared for landing from an unusually high traffic pattern altitude, he maintained higher than normal engine power and used the aircraft speed brakes for a rapid descent and during the landing roundout, he forgot to put the landing gear down, which resulted in the aircraft landing with the landing gear retracted.
