From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot privacy data omitted departed runway 27 at medina municipal airport with one passenger enroute to reader-Botsford Airport (67D) in Wellington, OH. The pilot had flown into the airport several times in a glider, but this was his first into 67D in an airplane. According to the pilot, runway 18 was in use at 67D by a glider that had taken off prior to his arrival. The pilot privacy data omitted said that he intended to land about halfway down the runway to avoid the hangar. The runway at 67D is 2850'X100' turf with trees at each end. The pilot privacy data omitted said that he came in "high and fast" and floated past his planned touchdown point. The Ohio highway patrol measured the touchdown point to be approximately 300' from the end of the runway. The airplane continued off the runway into a field where the nose gear sheared off and the airplane flipped over resulting in substantial damage.
