From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Enroute from denver jeffco (bjc) to bowman (bpp), pilot selected gear down and gear did not extend. Pilot diverted to Bismarck (bis) for emergency services. Attempted emergency manual gear extension and "felt gear coming down" then lost hydraulic (hyd) pressure. Pilot unable to secure gear in a down and locked configuration declared emergency landing. Landed on runway #21 with left main gear and right wing supporting aircraft and skidded pprox 350 yds before coming to rest. Pilot and pax exited ac without injury. Aircraft sustained substantial damage to both engines, propellers, right lower wing spar, right nacelle structure, lower aft fuselage frames and skin, and the nose & left landing gear assy. Post accident inspection revealed hyd system, drain/fill line and burst causing rapid loss of hyd reservoir contents.
