From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Departed marsh harbor, Bahamas to fort pierce, FL (kfpr). On downwind at fpr, placed gear down and heard gear motor quit. Requested a fly-by from the tower to confirm - "gear not down." Declared emergency and requested to continue to Orlando executive (korl) as destination (base); ATC communicated with us customs arriving at orl, the pilot attempted to manually extend the landing gear, but the emergency gear handle was bound-up (could not move 2"). Circled to the north, while communicating with maintenance for trouble-shoot instructions. Again, requested a fly-by from the orl tower - "gear not down." Pilot landed on runway 31, with minimal damage. Aircraft was landed on landing gear, which was partially extended, and pilot utilized the brakes to stop the aircraft.
