From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On June 12, 2005, approx 1130 PDT, Cessna 210, N9457T landed at Watsonville Municipal Airport (wvi), Watsonville, CA with it's main landing gear retracted. Upon entering the downwind leg of the traffic pattern for landing the pilot/owner supposedly put the landing gear control handle in the down position. After doing so, the pilot stated he noticed the single green landing gear enunciator was illuminated. Due to high level traffic at the time, the pilot did not look into the wing mounted mirrors to visually check if the landing gear had in fact deployed.
