From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) I/a/w the information provided by the pilot privacy data omitted during the take-off (turf, rnwy 6) the aircraft started drifting to the right. He then tried to correct by the use of left rudder w/o any effect (rudder appears to be locked). The aircraft was approx. 10 ft above the ground so he immediately put it back on the rnwy. The plane veered to the left (left brake locked) and went into the trees on the left side of such rnwy where it came to a stop approx. 1,300 ft from the start/beginning of it.
