What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Airman was practicing landings at a nearby airport. Due to other traffic performing practice instrument approach, he changed runways and was making CTAF notifications on the radio. When he finished, he was already in his landing flare and mistook the gear horn for the stall horn. Prop and belly touched runway while aircraft was going around. On climb out he did not experience any abnormal vibrations, so he returned to base.
