From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The captain stated that "upon landing, the aircraft started shaking severely. At that point I noticed the parking brake handle not fully down and then lowered the handle. After the aircraft came to a halt, the passengers were deplaned in an orderly fashion. I inspected the aircraft for damage and discovered all four tires blown. I made the appropriate log book entry." Post examination revealed that the brakes appeared to be engaged at the aircraft point of touchdown on runway 8L at Houston international airport. There were heavy skid marks from the point of touchdown to where the aircraft finally stopped, approximately 2200'. All four tires, wheels and brake assemblies were destroyed. The right main gear down lock rod was broken in half by tire debris. The right main gear door required replacement. Other noticeable damage was minor in nature dealing with the trailing edge of the right wing/flap well and the leading edge of the right hand inboard flap. There were no injuries and an emergency evacuation was not required.

As the FAA filed it
