From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft struck high power lines and impacted the ground. Unable to speak with pilot due to medical condition. (-23 amendment) pilot was spraying a field that butted against a curve in a levee near high tension power lines. To make the turn he had to fly under the power lines at an angle to create distance from the trees before he could pull up and turn. He lost track of his position and egressed too FAR under the powerlines to make the sidestep. He elected to continue straight ahead under the powerlines and attempt a steep climb once clear, but misjudged his clearance. The upper wing clipped the powerline and the airplane impacted the ground in the trees along the levee.
