From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On September 30, 2005 midwest airlines 210, a B-717, was enroute from milwaukee mitchell field (kmke) to Kansas City International Airport (kmci). Shortly after takeoff 8 male passengers became loud, rowdy and obnoxious. The flight crew attempted to address the situation but was not successful despite a warning that the Kansas City police would meet the airplane upon arrival in Kansas City. The Kansas City police met the aircraft and discussed the situation with the flight crew and the 8 passengers. This same group had come from philadelphia and behaved poorly on the flight from philadelphia. Milwaukee security monitored this group boarding flight 210 in kmke at which time they behaved normally and the captain decided to take them on the flight from milwaukee to Kansas City. There was not enough evidence to prove these passengers were intoxicated, nor had they interfered with a crewmember in the performance of their duties, therefore no FAA action was taken against the company or the 8 passengers.
