What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) During landing on runway 36, at spacecoast regional airport, the aircraft touched down once and bounced. After bouncing it began to porpoise and came down hard on the nose landing gear. The hard landing sheared the nose gear, allowing the propeller to contact the ground causing damage to the propeller. A later investigation at the scene also revealed firewall damage just below the battery mount.
