From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft departed axh and landed at brehnam airport at 1:00 p.m. during pre-landing checks, the pilot could not confirm that the gear down lights were illuminated but felt the gear come out and confirmed the gear circuit breaker had not popped out. Later, the aircraft departed brenham at 2:50 p.m. enroute to axh. At axh, again the pilot could not confirm the gear down lights were illuminated. Pilot observed that the gear circuit breaker had popped out. The pilot then checked that the gear selector lever was in the down position, pushed the circuit breaker in, and observed that it did not pop out. The pilot recycled the gear and again could not confirm the gear down lights were illuminated; checked that the circuit breaker was in. At aproximately 3:40 p.m., the aircraft touched down about one third of the way down the runway with the landing gear retracted. The gear selector was in the down position. Pilot states there was no previous problem with the landing gear. Post event investigation confirmed the gear annunciators brightness to be working correctly; bright with nav lights off and dim with the nav lights on and confirmed the emergency landing gear extend system operationwas normal.

As the FAA filed it
