From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While on final approach for runway 29L (sck), the pilot began the pre-landing checklist. Approximately two seconds after lowering the landing gear handle, the pilot heard a loud and noticeable "thump". The pilot then observed an unsafe landing gear indication. He then rechecked the gear handle and noticed the landing gear circuit breaker was popped out. He tried resetting the circuit breaker but to no avail. At this point the pilot performed the emergency gear extension checklist at least three times and contacted sck tower to advise them of the situation and asked to have top gun aviation contact him on 122.75. After conversing with top gun, the pilot tried three more emergency lowering landing gear procedures and on the last attempt, the "t" handle broke. The pilot made two fly bys and was informed by Stockton tower, and the chief mechanic for top gun, that the landing gear was in a 45 degree half down position. At this point, the pilot initiated a gear up landing, on 11R, with minor damage to the aircraft and no injury to the pilot.
