From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft started to buffet during approach to Opa Locka Airport. Pilot landed aircraft safely. Inspection revealed that the right elevator trim tab detached from it's actuator arm and caused the elevator to buffet. The elevator torque tube broke approximately 3 inches from the inboard attach point and the elevator counter weight was broken off. The elevator was substantially damaged. 4 flight hours earlier the right elevator had been removed for maintenance during the aircraft annual inspection. The elevator trim tab actuator arm was not broken and trim tab attach point was intact, but the attach hardware was missing.
