From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot landed the airplane slightly left of the centerline. The left main gear entered a snow berm that was left on the runway after the runway was plowed. This caused the left main gear to break rearward and the airplane skidded left, hit hard on the left wing and caused spar damage. (-23 amendment) on landing, the pilot lost control and drifted from centerline of runway. The plane hit a snow berm on the runway and the gear collapsed. The airplane sustained minor damages and the two occupants were not injured.
