From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On roll out on rwy 16, at south saint Paul airport, following a wheels landing, I reduced power and had control all the way to the rear. The aircraft turned left and the right landing gear collapsed. No fire, no injuries, and no ELT signal. Additional damage is rt. Wing forward spar bent 12" outboard of lift strut. Lower fuselage longeron below rt. Door. Float windshield brace bent. Pictures supplied from the saint Paul police department would indicate that the right landing gear did not collapse until the aircraft departed the runway. A verbal statement from the airport manager, privacy data omitted who was on scene, is that the pilot told someone that he may have landed fast.
