From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On arrival to kteb, a/c was on descent 7 NM north of wanes intxn when the crew heard a bird strike the nose area of the a/c. handling of the a/c was not effected. The crew stated they conducted a normal arrival and landing without incident. Post flight determined that probably a "falcon" impacted the right upper nose area, damaging the aft part of the nose raydome and skin over the avionics compartment. Bird entered the compartment. (This event was called into the FSDO by a maint. Representative of the company) (bird strike report form sent to the capt)
