From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On may 12, 2006, N4662M, a Beechcraft model V-35B aircraft landed kmyf runway 28L. The pilot states that during roll out he applied aircraft brakes, but they did not function. The aircraft ran off the end of the runway causing the pilot to retract the landing gear to avoid hitting an airfield boundary fence. The pilot was not injured and the aircraft received minor damage. Immediately following the incident, a certificated airframe and powerplant mechanic verified that when he depressed the pilots left and right brake pedals they went to the floor. A possible by pass condition exists within the brake system. An m or d will be submitted.
