From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Subject airman was enroute from knoxville, TN (ktys) to caldwell, NJ (kcdw) flying subject aircraft. Airman stated that as he passed approximately over allentown airport (kabe), allentown, PA, the aircraft's front engine started running rough. When he checked his instruments, he noted that the front engine oil pressure gauge read zero. He shut down the front engine. He assessed the flying qualities of the aircraft and elected to continue on to his destination on the rear engine only. When he contacted kcdw tower, he noticed that his radios were weak and making static. When he selected gear down in preparation for landing, the landing gear failed to extend. He then noted that the ship's battery seemed to be dead and the rear alternator was not charging the system. He utilized the hand pump to extend the landing gear. He then landed on rwy 22 at kcdw without further incident. Inspection of the front engine revealed a failed push rod shroud seal that allowed the majority of the engine oil to leak overboard. Inspection of the rear alternator revealed that the drive clutch had failed.
