From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On may 28, 2006, at approximately 12:56 p.m., the pilot privacy data omitted landed Cessna N6710M on runway 34L (left) and then turned left on taixway l (lima) and struck a taxiway light, causing some minor damage to the propeller. The pilot privacy data omitted said in an interview with this office that as he was flying over the sierra mountains at about 5 to 7 miles west, northwest of Reno, NV, he encountered windshear and turbulence causing his glasses to fall to the floor of the airplane. He had a second pair of glasses in his flight bag that he could not reach due to the turbulence. He landed the airplane safely without difficulty, with only one lens. He turned off the runway onto the taxiway and for some reason did not stop the airplane to change frequency (still with only one lens) and hit the taxiway light.
