What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The pilot privacy data omitted was practicing landings at kfch in N5699Y and was attempting his second landing when he landed long, bounced, the propeller contacted the runway. The pilot privacy data omitted then attempted to continue and takeoff with full flaps and speed brakes extended. The aircraft proceeded down the runway nose high and started losing directional control. The right and left wings contacted the runway as the pilot attempted to regain control and keep the wings level. The aircraft veered off the runway, across the taxiway and into the dirt/grass between the taxiway and the ramp. The pilot finally decided that he wasn't going to get the aircraft airborne and aborted the takeoff. The aircraft could not be stopped prior to impacting a fence at the end of the airport property. The aircraft went through the fence, across a road and impacted a second fence and finally stopped. The aircraft received substantial damage. The sole occupant, the pilot, was not injured.
