What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) After landing on runway 31 at sun (wind 230 degrees @ 10 gusts to 17) as the pilot manually retracted the flaps, the aircraft "ground looped." The pilot indicated that he may have relaxed the back pressure on the yoke (elevator) while retracting the flaps using the "johnson bar." Gusty winds lifted the left wing, causing the right wing tip to hit the ground and the aircraft nosed over.
