From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot reported that while utilizing the aircraft landing checklist on the downwind leg to runway 30 at mev, he put the landing gear switch in the down position. Then, not hearing the gear motor nor seeing indication of the landing gear extending, he aborted the approach and departed the airport pattern. During the check of the instrument panel, he noted that the landing gear circuit breaker was out. After pushing it in, when he again pushed the landing gear switch to the down position, the landing gear extended as normally. During the smooth landing on runway 30, no problems were evident. Then as the aircraft slowed down, the right wing started to lower to the runway. The right propeller started to hit the runway and the pilot shut off both engines. The aircraft then slowly turned to the right and came to rest about 25 feet off of the runway. The pilot turned off the master switch and followed the 2 passengers out of the aircraft. There was no fire. The damage to the aircraft is minor.

As the FAA filed it
