From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot indicates he left brodhead, WI, at approximately 0830. While enroute to veroqua, WI, he encountered IMC weather. The local weather was deteriorating and rather than risk IFR, the pilot elected to make a precautionary landing on a road (korback road/county z 0930). During landing roll out and exiting the pavement, the RH MLG contacted a shallow ditch causing the aircraft to turn, which resulted in side-loading the LH MLG, which collapsed under the fuselage. Damage includes-lower fuselage/cabin structure lh/mlg, propeller and wing tip.
