From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Witnesses stated that the aircraft was practicing, what appeared to be stalls, and then was seen spinning straight down. Aircraft impacted top of tree at approximately 70 feet up. Limbs were broken in a straight down path to impact point. Both occupants were fatally injured. Fire consumed the wreckage. A ballistic parachute system was installed but was not activated. The ballistic parachute is accessible only to the front occupant. Propeller blades were broken off and show damage consistent with turning under power at a high speed.
