From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Enroute from duh, PIC scanned instruments and found voltage meter to read 0 volts. Made decision to land at nearest airport which was mnn. Attempted to contact mnn via 2 comm frequencies but was unable to reach anybody. Enroute to mnn, aircraft experienced a complete power failure. Upon reaching mnn, PIC found the runway lights to be active. While attempting to lower the landing gear, PIC found that the gear switch was not working and pulled the landing gear override switch. Believing that his gear was down, PIC continued with his landing approach. Upon touchdown, aircraft landed on its belly. PIC attempted to control aircraft with the rudder pedals. Following a complete stop of the aircraft which was still on the runway, both occupants exited the aircraft and called 911.
