From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot, unable to fully extend the landing gear, landed on the grass to the left of the pavement off runway 8. The aircraft rolled/slid to a stop on the nose gear and belly. At the very end of the roll/slide the left wingtip and left horizontal contacted the ground. The nose wheel stayed in the down and locked position. The prop did not contact the ground. The inspection plate behind the nose gear was removed and it was found that the gear down hose assembly (p/n S2178-4-0102) had failed. The hose had separated from the end at the actuator.
